What is Vitalism?
Vitalism is from the word "vital" meaning necessary. All expressions of life are vital. Many things in life are not understood. Things that are not understood are still vital, still necessary. To judge things that are not understood as being "bad" begins a negative cycle of distrust.
Catalyst was built on the premise that an animating, orchestrating, unifying, governing intelligence exists in and among all living things. Being vitalistic, all manifestations are merely expressions that present themselves perfectly. Manifestations are perfectly following whatever sets of circumstances preceded them. Through vitalism, all things are correlated. Even more, connections exist between what may appear to be separate independent systems. Vitalism, therefore, includes respecting the intelligence behind every situation, knowing that everything has a definite purpose, whether the purpose is known or not.
