Certification Process

Catalyst Certification is a Six-Step Process:

1)  Complete at least one Basic Catalyst Class (eight modules) with adequate attendance.
            Adequate attendance requires missing no more than three hours during the Basic Catalyst Class.

2)  Complete at least one Advanced Catalyst Class (six modules) with adequate attendance.
            Adequate attendance requires missing no more than three hours during the Advanced Catalyst Class.  PREREQUISITE: SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF THE BASIC CATALYST CLASS (NUMBER 1).

3)  Complete at least one Catalyst Certification Class (four modules) with adequate attendance.
            Adequate attendance requires missing no more than one hour during the Certification Class.  PREREQUISITE: SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF THE BASIC CATALYST CLASS (NUMBER 1).

4)  Complete the Catalyst Certification Examination with a score of 76 or higher.
            PREREQUISITES: SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF NUMBERS 1, 2, & 3 WITHIN A 24 MONTH PERIOD.

5)  Complete at least 100 Catalyst sessions and five competencies.
            Students must keep a log of the 100 sessions to include participant's name and date of session. Each competency session must be observed (and form signed) by a Certified Catalyst facilitator. At least 19 Catalyst sessions must be completed and logged before performing first competency. At least 39 Catalyst sessions must be completed and logged before performing second competency. At least 59 Catalyst sessions must be completed and logged before performing third competency. At least 79 Catalyst sessions must be completed and logged before performing forth competency. At least 99 Catalyst sessions must be completed and logged before performing fifth competency.  PREREQUISITE: SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF AT LEAST ONE MODULE OF THE BASIC CATALYST CLASS.

6)  Sign the Catalyst Facilitator's Agreement.
            PREREQUISITES: SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF NUMBERS 4 & 5 WITHIN A 24 MONTH PERIOD OF COMPLETING 1, 2, & 3.
