The Catalyst Facilitator shall honor the continuing education requirements of Catalyst to maintain competence, to be informed of current and emerging developments in Catalyst, and to support the integrity of the profession.
Continuing Education Requirements

The status of a facilitator indicates his or her standing in Catalyst. The three classifications of status are as follows:
* Catalyst Apprentice -- An individual who is currently enrolled in or has successfully completed one Basic Catalyst Class.
* Certified Catalyst Facilitator (CCF) -- A Catalyst Apprentice who has successfully obtained Catalyst Certification.
* Current CCF -- A CCF who is up to date in meeting the continuing education requirements.
A Current CCF needs only to meet the Basic Continuing Education Requirements (successfully completing 12 credit hours each calendar year). A CCF who is not Current may regain that status by meeting the Expanded Continuing Education Requirements (successfully completing 36 credit hours within one calendar year).
Classes that count toward continuing education credit hours for Catalyst include The Basic Class (24 hours), The Advanced Class (24 hours), The Certification Class (12 hours), and CCF Workshops (3 hours each). A Correspondence Course is also available, which allows CCFs the opportunity to earn 12 credit hours per year through their personal computer.
Successful completion of a class or workshop is required to earn the credit hours. Facilitators can not earn partial credit for partial attendance of a class or workshop. Successful completion of a class includes satisfying the attendance policy. Facilitators must be in attendance for at least 21 hours of a 24-hour Basic or Advanced Class, 11 hours of a 12-hour Certification Class, 2 hours and forty-five minutes of a three-hour CCF Workshop, and complete all lessons of the Correspondence Course satisfactorily
